As of the 1st of June 2015, Pier Street Medical Centre will be increasing our fees by no more than 6%.
By 1st June our fees will have not risen for 2 ½ years but our running costs (rent, wages, etc) have.
A 6% increase over 2 ½ years equates to a 2.4% increase per year.
The problem here is that the federal government has frozen the Medicare rebate you will receive for consultations & procedures from November 2013 to June 2016, so your out of pocket payments will increase even further than expected.
We will continue to provide quality care and keep waiting times to a minimum.
